Hendersonville
NC is the county seat of Henderson County with a
population of 10,420 as of the 2000 census. The town is
perhaps best known for its exceptionally beautiful
historic downtown Main Street which is filled with
specialty shops and restaurants, and is frequented by
tourists every year. The Blue Ridge Mountains surround
Hendersonville, offering everything from day hikes and
weekend getaways to rock climbing, kayaking, and long
distance backpacking on the Appalachian Trail. Western
North Carolina is truly the outdoor enthusiasts’
playground. With so much to do it's no wonder that
Hendersonville real estate is in such high demand.
Each year downtown Hendersonville is home to one of the
most popular cultural events in the area; the
North
Carolina Apple Festival. The festival normally takes
place at the end of August or early September around
Labor Day. Main Street is home to the most excitement,
with over 150 vendors lining the eight blocks of the
main event area. There is continuous entertainment on
the professional stage from 10:00am to 10:00pm from
Friday through Sunday. Tens of thousands of people
attend the Apple Festival each year.
Hendersonville is the perfect example of a small town
with urban appeal. The town itself has an endless
variety of businesses for employment as well as a
multitude of entertainment opportunities from
restaurants and theatres to cultural events. At the same
time, Hendersonville is home to many secluded pieces of
real estate that offer peace and privacy. Whether you
are looking for a vacation property, a new home, or a
piece of land to build on, no one knows Hendersonville
NC real estate like Caulder Realty.
